Is a forum for neighborhood association and community participants to share information, research, explore, educate, support, and collaborate on land use, transportation, open space, housing, and more activities that impact neighborhoods.
We host presentations and discussions by local experts, community organizations, and public agencies on topics of current interest. This creates opportunities for communities to be connected with City and local agencies building understanding of the neighborhood and community priorities. As well, we initiate larger scale public events on civic life issues of interest. LUTOP can also act as an advisory body to make recommendations through the Board of Directors.
This forum serves to ensure opportunities to participate are equitably provided across all Central NE area communities, which may include the provision of translation, interpretation, and
childcare with advance notice. We strive to provide a hospitable and welcoming environment to all attendees and to meaningfully include the voice of diverse participants, perspectives, and communities.
